About me

My big brother Mauro has been my idol since early childhood, inspiring me to follow in his footsteps in pursuing skiing competitively. I was fortunate to grow up in a very sporty family and my parents, brother and sisters have always been very understanding of my athletic ambitions and supported me to the best of their ability. I was exposed to different sports all throughout my childhood and youth. I participated in a gymnastics club, soccer club and skiing club and was thrilled by all of these sports. In the end, I decided to focus my efforts on ski racing and pursue ambitious goals. Eventually, I turned my hobby into a career and I have never looked back! In sports, I focus on my technique but I also listen to my gut feeling and go with my motto in life “Live the moment”.

Technical development fascinates me not only in ski racing, but also in the development of sports glasses in our family business. From the first sketch to the international launch, I was able to introduce, test and further develop the quality characteristics relevant for performance sports activities. The SF Champ collection is being launched worldwide and also available in various sports shops in Switzerland.
